This whole building underwent massive "green"
overhaul. The heat and hot water are provided by a wood pellet
system using a gravity fed hopper. We have arranged the system
to easily connect into a upcoming solar heat collection system.
We have also blown in cellulose insulation in the walls, basement,
and between units and sealed the foundation and roof with a soy-based
spray foam. Our goal is to make this building our most eco-friendly
property and eliminate reliance on fossil fuels. Tenants will
appreciate new windows, doors and very well insulated draft free housing. |
